First time at this restaurant. Host were very friendly and sat us quickly. We did have a reservation. Service was prompt and friendly, Jade was awesome. Apps were great as was the chilli, brisket and salmon. BBQ sauce is amazing! If they sold it, I would have bought some. Overall great experience ... We'll be back!

Wow!!! Love this place!!! When you walk in, the whole place long, a lot larger than I thought when first walking in! It has a comfortable feeling with a bar and several tables. Not too dark but comfortable lighting. Our server was awesome! Knew the menu and was very helpful when selecting our choices for food. Oysters were fresh and VERY tasty! We had a few more apps and then some mains. Beef Short rib! YES! The food was all good and tasty, no complaints and came out of the kitchen in ample time! Now, let's talk drinks....... So I made the mistake of asking our server if he would mind listing what whiskeys / bourbons they had. Yeah, my mistake. lol He stared at me, smiled, cocked head to one side and said sir, we have over 1600 bourbons / whiskeys. He took us on a tour of the bourbon room. I was in heaven!!! This was a great dine and the tour was most awesome!!! Two thumbs up here!!!

First time visiting a place on Whiskey Row and this place did not disappoint. They have a massive selection of whiskeys to go with a full bar. The food was really good. The fried pickles were crisp and came with a really good sauce. Everything was delicious and the service was very good. Our server gave us a little history of the place, which is located in one of the original distilleries in Louisville. This place is definitely worth visiting. Lots of great looking items on the menu. You're going to find something you'll love. And if you're a whiskey person; you will absolutely find something you'll love.

The place is huge so there are dining rooms on two sides, plenty of room for big parties. Our server wasn't the best, it took a long time for her to come and we saw her twice the entire experience. Another server nearby was great! Dhe took our order and made sure we had what we needed. Shoutout to her for improving our experience. The food came out and I had The Bubba, my friend ordered 2 brisket sliders, collard greens, and the red skin mashed potatoes. We didn't know they'd come loaded but they were excellent. Overall, food was good. Service was ok for this visit and I'd come back.

We arrived in Louiseville and we're looking for a good meal. We chose this restaurant based on a local recommendation. There were several holiday parties the night we visited so the restaurant was very loud. We had a hard time having a conversation. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, a spicy margarita and an old fashion. These were all good. Due to the noise and wanting to eat quickly, we ordered side dishes and single sliders. Thesecwere delivered to our table quickly and were good as well. I hate we were really ready to get out of there or we would have ordered bigger meals.

Doc Crow's is a nicer spot to grab a drink, if you can find a spot at the bar, or a bite. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is tasty! We (a group of 6) came for an early-ish dinner and had to only wait a few minutes for a table. Seated in the rear dining room we settled in and had a few drinks while perusing the menu. This is where we struggled because there are more than a few delicious sounding items from which to choose. After receiving some help from our friendly waitress we did not have to wait too long for our food to arrive. What delighted us were the decent portion sizes and the flavors; everyone enjoyed everything! Opting out of dessert, we left feeling we'd got our money's worth. Doc Crow's is a solid spot to have a meal. Their offering, on all facets, is one that you'll enjoy.

If you're looking for BBQ and Southern fare in a lively, bustling setting, Doc Crow's is the place for you! With many meat and seafood options (there's an oyster bar!), you're bound to find something tasty here. Are you looking for a place to enjoy a low to mid-volume conversation with someone while you eat? This isn't the place! Are you willing to shout a little at times, perhaps sample some bourbon while you're at it? This is the place for that! I ordered the fried catfish, which came with hushpuppies, sauce, and a small side of slaw. I really enjoyed it - a really hearty dish with great flavor! The others at my table ordered things like beef brisket and pulled pork, and had nothing but praise for their meals. This is a really nice spot for a fun hangout with friends, since the volume is already amplified in the restaurant (at least, it can get that way at dinnertime). It does get quite busy, so I would recommend making reservations.

Nice pub feel restaurant with a large bar and plenty of seating (in all styles - bar, high op tables, and regular height tables). We visited during a Saturday so there was lots of traffic from the Bourbon tourists (including us). Our server's name was Josh and he was super attentive. He made sure we enjoyed everything we ordered right after it would come out. We shared an order of the crinkle cut fried pickles. I prefer this style over the spears. They are served with a dip that was really good. We dived in so fast, I neglected to capture an image of them. We each had the pulled pork sandwich with the side of the Doc's Chips. The sandwich does not come with sauce on it but there is a bottle at the table of a wonderfully sweet bbq sauce and I could douse every bite! The chips were super-spicy. I couldn't eat them all because my mouth was on fire. But if you like spicy chips, I'm certain you would like these...there was a nice paprika flavor before the heat sets in. I recommend this place - it's casual with a full menu of items (including salads!) so there's something for everyone.

Kinda pricy!! I got the bbq sampler. My girlfriend got the old crow chicken. The best thing I ate all night was the chicken!! Save yourself 13 dollars and get the chicken. The sides We're 5 or 6 dollars extra it's an expensive place to eat for the average taste of a bbq in Kentucky !! If your wanting a good place to eat in downtown Louisville give it a try..
